Gary is available to hold workshops in a variety of specialised
areas. These workshops can be held at the centre in Dartford or
at your sports club.
Mental Skills for Golf
This workshop covers my 10 Mental Mantras for Golf, and provides
an abbreviated single session of golf psychology training dealing
with the most common problems associated with golf such as distraction,
negative thoughts, bad shots and pre-shot routines. This is a
practical 2 hr workshop and attendees will be encouraged to participate
in the practical exercises in order to understand the techniques
involved. Time is allocated at the end of the workshop for discussion
of specific issues affecting attendees. Min group size: 10 Maximum:
25.
Topics include:
- Relaxation Skills
- Effective Visualisation
- Understanding Focus and Concentration
- Dealing with Distracting or Negative Thoughts
- Developing an effective Pre-shot and Pre-competition Routine
A handout summarising the 10 Mental Mantras will be provided.

Relaxation Training
It's not often you get the chance to completely relax, and in
this 1 hour workshop you will learn the relaxation techniques
used by top sportspeople and artistic performers. Feel the incredible
comfort of having both your body and mind relax completely as
you learn how to let go of all the stress and tensions of the
day. This is a practical class and you will spend most of it relaxing!
You'll also receive a step-by-step guide to continuing the relaxation
at home. Suitable for individuals as well as sports people. Min
group size: 5. Maximum: 12.
